The primary aim of HB while attending an operation or assisting clients is to achieve cost effective and expeditious results with qualified expertise. HB's operations are conducted under the strictest safety guidelines with additional recommendations when warranted. In ADB funded Bangladesh Chittagong Port Trade Facilitation Project, HB focused on improving the management practices of Chittagong Port Authority (CPA) and Customs at Chittagong Port for ship berthing and container clearance by improving processes, procedures and documentation simplification as well as better interfacing between Customs and CPA in the ship berthing and container clearance process. HB also prepared operation manual for CPA to implement to handle hazardous materials, dangerous cargo and any environmental emergency in the port area.
